All You Can See

All You Can See

All you can see

Is your mirrors in dreams

With a shudder under covers and a hush

In between.

Well it’s fine. When did you say you’re mine?

How could you do this to you?

When you do this to me?

To me.

Is it the way that you walk?

When you go out on my haunts

And shadow all that I want?

You know I hate when you talk;

I’ve swallowed more than your taunts.

Girl aren’t you tired?

You always speak for my mind.

I only seek what I find.

And when the moment is right,

I said when planets align,

You’ll finally use up that line

Then I’ll be retired.

All you can see / Is your mirrors in dreams

With a shudder under covers and a hush

In between.

Well it’s fine. When did you say you’re mine?

How could you do this to you?

When you do this to me?

To me.

What are we missing?

Is this existing?

I wanna know

How could you go?

How could I ever know

When all you ever showed

Was the shell

That was your soul

Inside a heart of stone?

Well. Now.

Neither can atone

Make. My.

Peace with bein’ alone;

The decision

That’s your own;

I’ll walk on that higher road

So our paths won’t ever cross.

Salt will assuage the shedding cost.

I was born to melt the frost.

You have sworn to suffer loss,

And now!

All you can see

Is your mirrors in dreams

With a shudder under covers and a hush

In between.

Well it’s fine. When did you say you’re mine?

How could you do this to you?

When you do this to me?

To me.
